2013-08-22 [ancienteye]: Jace: "Yeah. But that wasn't durin' this, I'd bet. Back when I was 'bout 20, there was a drug goin' around. Well, kinda a drug... People were extractin' the spine an' brain fluids from vampires. Alone, it was a powerful pain-killer. Mixed with a little human blood, and just a sip would have ya flyin' like a kite."

2013-08-22 [ancienteye]: Jace: "Yeah... Like I said, I wasn't one for the big bucks, so I was just a bodyguard. I didn't do any extractin', honest! Although, I might have offered a few people up on silver platters by accident... Nah. Not by accident. I just didn't wanna think 'bout it."

2013-08-22 [Kbird]: Anabell: *looks thoughtfully* I doubt you have to worry about Yuki going through that.

2013-08-22 [ancienteye]: Jace: "Yeah. And it all worked best, too! By the time the government crack-down on District 47 happened, I was trusted enough to be security for the private rooms instead. There was some kinda event goin' on so I was guardin' the dancers when the soldiers came. I was the only guy with a weapon who didn't draw it or run for the stash or money so they gave me a shot to join." :)

I keep imagining their marriage like Hal and Lois's in Malcolm in the Middle. Basically: Anabell can't even change her hairstyle without Jace jumping her that night. XP
